This is the 2nd version of the GE Logiq E9 XDclear series, also called R6. The initial XDclear version was launched in 2014 with C1-6-D and C2-9-D transducers. The GE Logiq E9 XDclear 2.0 is a multi-purpose ultrasound system and GE positioned the Logiq E9 XDclear 2.0 as the GE General imaging flagship ultrasound product, GE tried to apply the best of her technologies and features. In this reason, another C3-10-D XDclear transducer is added to strengthen neonatal and pediatric applications. And also, the GE Logiq E9 gives a new option to choose one of 23″ wide screeen LED backlight monitor or 22″ wide screen OLED monitor, previously only a 19″ LCD monitor available. The OLED option could be a hightlight of image improvement for this version with better clarity, contrast, and resolution. In present, interventional procedure with ultrasound guidance is getting common. For better interventional procedure, more dedicated transducers are added at this options such asC2-6b-D, C2-7-D, and L3-9i-D(T type intraoperative probe). Because the GE Logiq E9 is a multi-purpose system including for shared service, Two GE’s cardiac automation technologies – Auto Ejection Fraction (Auto EF) and Cardiac Automatic Function Imaging (Cardiac AFI) – must be highlighted as a major upgrade. However, M5Sc has missed, but we can estimate next time for better fundamental cardiac image quality. For all premium options with the GE Logiq E9 XDclear 2.0 would be nice, but limited number of hospitals or medical centers can afford this due to the high price point. The 1st release of the XDclear version is the R5 version of the GE Logiq 9. Depending on the purpose of buying a system, its XDclear options, interventional options, cardiac options, and Shear wave option, etc can satisfy the need of labs or hospitals with a more affordable price. This logic applies the same to the lower versions of GE Logiq E9 down to R4 and R3.
